Jason Paris explores how the current political climate in the United States impacts personal relationships.  Returning home for Winter Break after the 2016 election, Taylor (Avery Bagenstos) finds his high school football coach (Jason Paris) contemplating resignation.  With humor and the camaraderie of coaches and players, they reflect on the election and their futures, ultimately finding themselves at odds over a past coaching decision, one that illustrates the every-day conflict between progressive and conservative values.

Jason Paris is an award winning educator, playwright, and director. A Graduate of NYU Steinhardt’s Educational Theatre program, he is a diamond coach in the National Speech and Debate Association, the 2010 Oklahoma Alliance for Arts Education Outstanding Drama Teacher, the 2010 Charlene Burton Coaching Award Recipient, the 2007 OSSAA 3A Speech and Debate Coach of the Year, and the 2005 OSTCA Young Speech Teacher of the Year.
