Have you ever done a production and nobody came?
You couldn’t get a reviewer. Audiences with sparse because of insufficient press or odd performance dates within a festival situation, or the elements were against you?
“I had a principal role in an opera many years ago and it snowed during a major portion of the run. When the conditions were so bad that even my own family could not come in to see me.”
If you have a video tape of your performance for dress rehearsal, a member of the JMC writing to you will view it and offer a review. If enough elements are missing you can still submit the recording and get what we call an Arts report. This is basically a summary of the event with opinions.
Sometimes even our fees are too high for some companies. That doesn’t mean you should be ignored. JMC post press allows you to retain the services of a reviewer literally 20% of our lowest cost for press packages.
